Fresh Movie Plot Explained, Hollywood movies explained

Fresh Plot Synopsis

No matter how bad your dates have been in the past, we hope you haven't had a date as bad as Noah's (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Steve's (Sebastian Stan).

After meeting an attractive plastic surgeon in the fruit and vegetable aisle of her local supermarket, she's thrown off the hook and on a surprise weekend getaway. Good luck to him! Not really, because Steve is not as normal as he seems. Noah's weekend isn't going well, and the reasons why are pretty unappetizing. Spoilers ahead!

  What's wrong with Steve?

On the surface, Steve is much sweeter than many of the men Noah has dated. But soon after he arrives at his luxury home, Noa is drugged and chained in a cell. Unfortunately, this isn't a Fifty Shades of Gray scenario, as Noah is clearly not ready to take over.

Steve isn't Christian Gray either, as he has more than sex on his mind when considering what to do with Noah's body. It turned out that he was a man who collected women for meat, not only for his own consumption, but also for the pleasure of rich customers who were not satisfied with just chicken or fish with an evening glass of wine.

Does anyone know where Noah is?

Except for Gordon Rams...erm...Steve and a woman named Penny in the cell next door, no. But her best friend Molly, worried about Noah's disappearance, manages to find out more about Steve, whom she already suspects. He is able to track down his other home, which he shares with his wife Anna, but it is not there when he arrives.

After sharing his concerns with Ann, who has no idea about her husband's secret pastime, Steve shows up. Molly calls Noah's phone, which surprisingly goes off in the creeper's pocket. So Steve rumbled, but he's not the only one with a secret. A seemingly innocent Ann knocks Molly unconscious.

  What happens to Molly?

Steve takes Molly to his luxury home where she, like Noah, is held captive in preparation for whatever culinary concoction he has in store for her.

Is Steve making mincemeat out of Noah?
Thankfully not, although he does cut bits off his butt. Still, Noah won't let Steve cook him. In order to win her over, she tricks him into believing she's a cannibal, and to prove it, she has a rather unpleasant meal with her captor.

Is Noah next on the menu?

Noa convinces Steven that she likes the taste of human flesh, but she's still not out of danger. However, after tricking Steve into taking a bite of his captor's meatballs (and I don't mean the meatballs he put on her dinner plate earlier), he is able to orchestrate an escape attempt.

He then runs off, rescuing Molly and Penny along the way. When Steve catches up to them, the women pick him up and manage to beat him up before he turns them into a 3-course meal.

Is Noah running away from Steve's mansion?

Yes! Along with Mollie and Penny, he flees into a nearby forest, though the big bad monster (I mean Steve) reappears, this time with a gun rather than a carving knife. Unfortunately for him, he is quickly defeated and eventually shot by Noa.

What about Ann?

Steve's accomplice arrives in the woods and, after meeting Noah, poses as another Hannibal Lecter-wannabe victim. Ann then tries to strangle Noah, but her efforts are thwarted when Noah puts Steve's keys around her neck and Molly, who has just arrived on the scene, hits Ann in the head with a shovel. The job is done!

  Does Noah find true love?

We'll probably never know for sure unless there's a sequel called Fresh and Fresh. But before the film closes, she receives a text from a man she met at the beginning of the film asking if she wants to go on a date. Although her date with him wasn't as horrible as it was with Steve, the creep still treated her like a piece of meat.
